Storm Runners marks Amazon’s first dive into a mobile studio for Amazon Games. This was the first game I worked on for Amazon, with the game being designed for Android and iOS. I was responsible for creating exciting new levels for this live service game.

Takeaways
I learned a lot on Storm Runners, as it challenged my flexibility due to the nature of mobile titles. Being a mobile game meant our levels had to be fun and short enough for phone user retention rates and limited control capabilities. Additionally, creating meaningful routes for player progression was a powerful tool to making the player feel like they had choices in their playthroughs.
